Orders and Delivery

  1. What are the shipping options and what is the cost?

For non-weaponised goods we offer delivery via:

GLS (delivery to the pick-up point)

  • The price of a package up to 10 kg when paying on delivery is 100,- incl. VAT 21%
  • The price of a package up to 10 kg when paying in advance is 65,- incl. VAT 21%

GLS (delivery to address)

  • The price of a package up to 31.5 kg when paying on delivery is 125,- incl. VAT 21%
  • The price of a package up to 31.5 kg when paying in advance is 95,- incl. VAT 21%

Parcel post (delivery to a Z-Point outlet)

  • The price of a parcel up to 5 kg when paying on delivery is 105,- incl. VAT 21%
  • The price of a parcel up to 5 kg when paying in advance is 70,- incl. VAT 21%

You can collect your order personally at our shop in Ostrava at Zkrácená 3223/46, 700 30 Ostrava-Zábřeh (free of charge).

Please note that pepper sprays are subjected to OP control and can therefore only be sent to your address/picked up in person.

 

We deliver guns and ammunition via:

Transportation services - The current fee for transport by truck is CZK 1,000, free of charge for purchases over CZK 40,000. Shuttle service is carried out approximately once every 2 weeks

 

  1. How long does the delivery take?

If the goods from your order are in stock and the order is COD/paid for, we usually ship immediately. The delivery time then depends on the carrier chosen - usually 1-3 working days. 

  1. What if the item I am interested in appears to be "out of stock" (yellow stock)?

This usually means that we do not currently have it in stock and will order it for you from the supplier. If you are wondering how long you will be waiting for the goods, just call +420 735 179 356 or email info@defendia.cz. We will check the status and let you know.

  1. Can I change or cancel my order?

  1. Should I register before ordering?

This is entirely up to you. Registration allows you to manage your login details and, most importantly, view your order history. You can always recover your login details using the "Forgotten password" and "Forgotten username" links.

  1. Can I buy goods outside the Czech Republic?

  1. Do you also offer gift vouchers?

Yes, in values of 500 CZK, 1000 CZK or 2000 CZK. Gift vouchers contain a unique ID number that can be used as a discount code in the ordering process. Vouchers are valid until the end of 2025 and can be sent in physical form to an address or purchased in store. We do not offer the e-form.

Payment

  1. How can I pay?
  • You can pay in cash or by credit card at the physical store
  • Transfer securely from the comfort of your home via internet banking, smart bank or by using a generated QR code
  • After issuing an advance invoice with due date, by bank transfer
  • Cash on delivery upon receipt from the courier or at the point of delivery

Returns and complaints

  1. How can I claim the goods?

You don't have to worry about making a complaint with us. Just fill in the "Complaint" form, which can be found here - https://www.defendia.cz/informace/vraceni-zbozi-a-reklamace/?retino-portal-d096-url=/cs/portal/iframe/9fcdf5a0-d162-4ccb-a6d9-c8676d138ad2/

Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, delivery or warranty card, the warranty on the goods delivered is 24 months.

A claim cannot be made in the following cases:

  • mechanical damage, improper installation, handling or operation.
  • damage caused by computer viruses
  • use of the goods in conditions which do not correspond to the parameters specified in the documentation
  • the goods have been damaged by the elements
  • the goods have been damaged by excessive loading or by use contrary to the conditions specified in the documentation

The customer can make a claim by delivering the goods by post to DEFENDIA LAND s.r.o., Zkrácená 3223/46, 700 30 Ostrava, or in person.

Please enclose with the claimed goods:

  • a copy of the invoice or warranty certificate
  • the manufacturer's warranty card, if it was delivered with the goods

  1. I don’t like the goods I ordered. Can I return it?

Yes, you have the right to return the goods, but they must be undamaged, without signs of use or wear, in their original packaging and with all accessories.

Weapons and ammunition

  1. Do I need a firearms licence to buy a gun?

Yes, a firearms licence is required to purchase weapons. This applies to categories A, B and C, and for categories A and B you must also have the relevant purchase permit.

Silencers also fall under category C, which means that a firearms licence and subsequent registration with the police is required to legally purchase them.

A firearms licence is required to purchase cartridges and magazines. An exemption is also available for oversize magazines.

  1. How do you verify the licence?

After creating an order, we will contact you by email and ask you to send us your firearms licence number and purchase permit number. We only check your details to verify your purchase authorisation - we protect them in accordance with GDPR.

  1. Can the gun be sent to my address by courier?

  1. I am fresh off my license and would like some advice on choosing a gun. Can you help me?

Of course! Whether it's your first gun or you're looking for something specific for sport, hunting or personal defense - we're happy to help. Contact us by phone, email or stop by the shop to see the guns personally.

  1. Do you also offer gun accessories?

Yes, you will find a wide selection of magazines, holsters, collimators, optics, cleaning, spare parts and other accessories. Everything is clearly categorized on the e-shop, even by type of your gun. And if you want advice, just give us a call, write, or stop by in person.

  1. Can I try out a gun at your shop?

Unfortunately, we don't have our own shooting range. But if you want to see and "feel" the gun first, no problem. Just stop by the physical store.

  1. I already have the ZP and the gun... But don’t know how to handle it. You don't offer classes, do you?

We do! For now, it's a pistol and rifle level 1 and 2 course, or a telescopic baton course. We have a Piexon course for professionals. You can choose here - https://www.defendia.cz/kurzy/

Self-defense

  1. Can I buy pepper spray or a telescopic baton without a PPE?

Yes, these means of self-defense are not restricted by law. But they must only be used in the case of extreme emergency.

  1. Is it legal to carry self-defence devices?

Yes, but their use is governed by law. A defensive device may only be used in cases of necessary defence or extreme emergency. Misuse can be a criminal offence.

  1. Any advice on bears?

Sure, just write or call us. Generally, we recommend an aerosol-type pepper spray over 200 ml.

Outdoor

  1. What is the impregnating spray for?

Waterproofing extends the life of your clothing, boots and gear. It protects against moisture, dirt and mould.

  1. Is the equipment you offer suitable for beginners?

Yes, most products are suitable for complete beginners in the outdoor world. We will also be happy to advise you on your purchase, either by email, phone or in person at our shop.
